Visiting Lago di Como for Silk

It is always a great pleasure to visit the legendary Lake of Como (Lago di Como). For centuries this area has been producing the finest quality silk, mostly because Mulberry trees, which the silk worm needs to feed, were abundant in the area. Today there are only very few Mills, which emphasize on quality and design in order sustain the fierce Chinese competition. It has been a great opportunity to see our friends, have some very good tartar steak and of course discuss silk. Our silk Mill had some very interesting new ideas for the next collections. Here is a photo from our latest visit.
